Post'l Point Playdate

Last week we had a playdate at post'l point which is the "beach" area on base. It's really good for the little ones because they can play in the sand and the water without fear of the big ocean waves. Well, most can play in the water...but not Abby, because she is scared of the water once again. She does fine in the bathtub, but put her anywhere near a pool, beach, or splash pad and she is terrified. Go figure! I guess I will have to put her in swim lessons again in order for her to get over that fear. But, I digress. Back to the playdate. We had a blast! Abby played in the sand and splashed in the buckets full of water. I was able to chat with friends and we had lunch at the picnic tables. It was perfect! Abby came home and passed out for a few hours...that is what the Florida sun will do to you!
