It's not Disney World

A couple of weekends ago Andrew and I took Abigail to one of the local "festivals" here in Northwest Florida. I have learned not to expect too much from these festivals and then you won't be disappointed! This one was pretty hokey, but Abby had fun and I guess that is all that matters! It took some getting used to, but Abby finally put her fears aside and let us take her on a few rides! Maybe it was a blessing in disguise that she was afraid of the rides because after she figured out it was actually fun, she wanted to go again and again! We let her choose which ride she wanted to go on first, and she decided she wanted to go on the teacups with Daddy! She had so much fun (although Andrew may have been enjoying it more than she did as you can see from the pictures below). After the teacups, I took her on the carousel. She was scared at first, but she was squealing with delight by the time the ride came to an end. We didn't stay for too long because she could have gone on the rides for hours after that and it wasn't cheap. After the festival we went out to dinner in Ft. Walton Beach. It turned out to be a lot of fun!! I am looking forward to the day we can take her to Disney though....that will be an experience!!

Who's having more fun here, Andrew or Abby?!?!
