Eldorado Canyon

In between Andrew leaving Florida, house hunting in Arizona and going to his training for EWI in San Antonio, he was able to spend a few days with us in Colorado. One day we decided to drive to Boulder and go to Eldorado Canyon. Believe it or not, I never went there the entire time I was at school in Boulder! I wish I had though because it was absolutely breathtaking! We drove into the canyon a little ways and parked then ate our picnic lunch right next to the creek. After we were done eating we splashed around in the creek and Ana and Abby even caught a few fish! We packed up then headed to a kid friendly trail for a little hike. We saw a lot of wildlife and watched some of the rock climbers (it is one of the best rock climbing places in the world)! It was a wonderful day, followed by a trip into Boulder for some delicious 8cal/oz ice cream!!! Yummy!!!
