The first couple of days was just our family and Susan and later in the week Peter, my mom, Ana and Mikey (my brother and sister) joined us. Anyway, the first day of our Disney trip we hit the big guns and went to The Magic Kingdom. The first couple of days were chilly. As you can see we were bundled up in our coats but it wasn't unbearable and it was definitely better than sweltering heat.
Abby was in complete awe as we walked into Disney World. She was absolutely beside herself with excitement when she spotted the princess castle for the first time. It brought tears to my eyes (the first of many over the course of the week) and I just knew it was going to be a truly magical, wonderful vacation. We spent the day exploring, riding the rides, getting character autographs, laughing, and making memories that will last a lifetime.

Daddy and Abby on the Dumbo ride. She loved riding the rides and after every ride she would look at us and say, "I want to ride that one again!!" We had to keep reminding her that there were tons of other fun rides to check out!

There was a place in Toon Town where you could do a meet and greet with some of the Disney Princesses. It was probably one of the longest lines we waited in all week (still only about 30-40 minutes), but it was worth every minute of the wait. Again, my eyes welled up with tears as Abby entered the room with Cinderella, Belle, and Princess Aurora. She was so excited and you could just see the joy in her eyes. It is a moment I will remember for the rest of my life.Here is Abby with Cinderella

Sounds like a fantastic trip. Can't wait to see the rest of it. Abby is going to be talking about it forever. I still remember my trip to Disney Land as a kid. Meeting Minnie Mouse was the highlight as I recall. Glad Abby got to meet the princesses!
What a magical vacation! Even chunky looks like she enjoyed the trip! I remember when Abby wore that outfit!
