We are so money

At least last Saturday night we THOUGHT we were money. No visit from Annis would be complete without a little poker night. After the kiddos went to bed, we decided to act like kids ourselves and just be goofy and let loose. We had a lot of fun. I didn't do so good at poker but Andrew did pretty well, so all was not lost!

New Layout

I was reading some other blogs when I came across one that mentioned free layouts. Sam and I have been talking about custom layout for the blogs and there is a way to design and pay for your own personal layout. Sam is working hard to come up with something for her blog. I, on the other hand, was sick of the same old, same old on my blog, but I am not nearly as motivated as Sam and I took the lazy route. The pre-made layout! It works for now, itts something different. There is a poll to the left, let me know what you think!

Boating in October?!?!

Last weekend, while Jason was in town we decided to rent a boat for a few hours. Unfortunately there was a high wind advisory so we weren't able to go out to Crab Island but we were able to cruise around in the bay and the the boys even took a dip in the water. Abby didn't really like the boat at first but she got used to it near the end. I guess next summer we will have to boat more often so Abby can get used to it!!

Oktoberfest

The local Oktoberfest festival was in town last weekend so we decided to hit it up with Sam and Nolan last Friday. We were excited for a little taste of Germany, maybe a Brat and a beer, something along those lines. Well, no such luck. I have no idea why they called the fair Oktoberfest there wasn't a hint of anything German to be found. Andrew was a bit disappointed he couldn't have a Brat for dinner but all was not lost. The kiddos had a blast on some of the carnival rides. The first ride we took them on Sam and I were able to go on with them. I guess they had fun and it made them brave so they rode the rest of the rides by themselves. They are growing up so fast!!!

LBTS and a visit from Greta

Last week my sister Greta and her boyfriend Jon came to visit for a week. Thanks to a little last minute planning we were able to spend part of the week in LBTS (Lauderdale by the Sea) visiting with my Dad and Jane as well. It was a lot of driving but it was a great, albeit, short visit. Abby ended up getting sick and it was quite an interesting, long drive home. We only had a short time to visit here in Crestucky which was probably a good thing because there isn't a whole heck of a lot to do here. But, we did go to the outlet mall and we made it down to the beach for lunch and a little dip in the ocean. It was fun having Greta visit and we miss her already!

Competition Leotard

Gramma Nancy, Mikey and Ana sent Abigail a gymnastics outfit for her birthday. This wasn't just any old leotard, it is a genuine Jet Kids Competition leotard....the same kind that Ana wears to all of her meets. Abby just loves her new leotard (mostly because she looks just like Ana in it) and she got a lot of compliments on it last time we had gymnastics. Here are a few shots of her in her new digs!
