So, I thought if I didn't post about it then it wouldn't happen. Well, that wasn't the case and my baby boy turned one despite by efforts for it not to happen! I think knowing he is our last child, letting him grow up is even more difficult than it was with the girls.
William is truly a happy little guy. His smiles come fast and easy and he smiles with his whole face, it impossible not to be happy when you see it. He has a belly laugh that matches his smile. He is a cuddle bug, but only on his terms. He is friendly and not shy, he will pretty much go to anyone willing to hold him! I am pretty sure he is part monkey, he is quite a climber and LOVES bananas. He has mastered going both up and down the stairs and thinks its a wonderful game to go up and down repeatedly. He adores his sisters, although he could do without some of Olivia's "loud" playing. Having and raising a boy has been a totally different experience than raising girls. William is "all boy" with the climbing and getting into things. He thinks the kitchen cabinets were put there for him to rummage through as he sees fit. When he is able to sneak into a bathroom when the door has been carelessly left open by girls who shall remain nameless, he thinks its fun to swish the toilet water around. He loves any type of ball and he loves to play catch. If the dishwasher is open you can be sure to find him standing on the door "helping". I am constantly on my toes with him and I can't wait to see what the next year brings for him and our family!
