Military life definitely has its ups and downs, but one of the best aspects of military life are the friends you meet along the way and how quickly those friendships form! I am lucky to be surrounded by such caring, thoughtful women and was honored when they threw a baby sprinkle for myself and our friend Mary who is due with a little girl 2 weeks after me. Mary and I were spoiled with gifts, a delicious meal and of course yummy cheesecake at the Cheesecake Factory! We had lots of fun opening gifts, sharing stories and laughing. I feel so blessed to have these women in my life, thank you ladies for such a wonderful time!!!
This is Mary. As I said she is due 2 weeks after me with a little girl. It will be her 4th child so I will be looking to her for advice on how to handle 3 since she seems to do it with such ease right now!
Myself opening gifts. Its so weird to see blue everywhere as I have been used to pink for all these years!
Even though Congratulations spelt incorrectly, the cheesecake was still delicious!

So glad you are surrounded by such wonderful people. Its so strange for me to see you holding up blue clothes, too! You are my "friend of girls." Not anymore! ;) So excited for you. You and Mary are both glowing!

i went to school (VT) with mary and joel...but didn't realize it until joel posted on his fb that they had their 4th child and i saw her blog w/the same exact baby shower pix...small world! :)
