6 Months Old

Where does the time go? Olivia is already 6 months old, which means she is half way to being 1! Crazy!!! Its been a busy, exciting, and memorable 6 months. We have learned a lot and have slowly gotten used to going from a family of 3 to a family of 4. I can't imagine my life without my 2 girls and Abby is a natural when it comes to being a big sister. She can just look at Olivia and get her to smile from ear to ear or let out a contagious belly laugh. I am very surprised how well Abby has adjusted and we have really had no issues to speak of so far, so we feel very blessed in that department. Seeing the 2 of them interact is amazing and I can already see the love in Olivia's eyes for her big sister.

Some of Olivia's favorite things (besides her big sister) at this point in her life are her paci on a string. This little contraption provides hours of entertainment. She also loves her jumperoo, and she will sit on the floor and play with her toys for quite a while. She is eating "solids", and I haven't found a food that she doesn't like. She is beginning to use a cup to drink a little bit of water, she is good at getting it to her mouth but doesn't really tip it up, she mostly just chews on the spout. The only thing predictable about her sleep schedule is that it is unpredictable! Some nights she is up after a few hours, other nights she sleep for 11 hours straight....she is always keeping us guessing! She has her 2 bottom teeth and seems to be working on cutting one of the top ones. She is busy, busy, busy and an absolute joy to have in our lives. Even though there are lots of changes on the horizon for our family, I am looking forward to the next 6 months and all the memories that are to come!
