Soto Cano was graced with a four day weekend for Memorial Day, so a group of us decided to head up north to the city of La Ceiba, right on the Caribbean Sea. The city also borders one of the largest national parks in Honduras-Pico Bonito. It covers over 100,000 acres of unspoiled rainforest and mountains. Our time was split between Pico Bonito and La Ceiba. Over 300,000 people were in La Ceiba that weekend to celebrate Carnival. Wild!!!
