A kid in a toy store
On Sunday after brunch Andrew and I took Abby to Toys R Us in Pensacola. Abby had a blast and we were there for almost 2 hours!! She just went up and down every aisle testing out all of the toys. Although Abby was having a ball, I think Andrew and I were having more fun. It was made my heart smile to see her having such a good time. She is no longer a baby, she is a big girl. And while I miss the baby stages, I am loving the toddler stage. She is so curious and full of life and her personality is blossoming!

Jason and Mel Visit
Our friends that we were stationed at Hanscom with, Jason and Mel, came to visit for the weekend. It was a short trip but we had a ton of fun!! After a late night of chatting and catching up, we woke up on Saturday and headed down to the beach. We were going to rent a boat for the day but unfortunately it was too windy. After the beach we went to Anglers for some lunch. That night we had Sam, Brian and Nolan over for dinner and after we put the kiddos to bed we played a little poker. Jake and Jamie came over for the poker portion of the night as well. On Sunday, we headed to Pensacola to take Jason and Mel to the airport but stopped off at a restaurant on the beach called Flounders. It was really nice, its right on the beach and they have a playground that was perfect for Abigail. We had a really nice visit with Jason and Mel and we are very thankful that we have such awesome friends!!

Strawberry Picking
Today we had an outing with our MOPS group to go strawberry picking. It was a lot of fun and Abby had a blast picking out the best strawberries she could find. She even took a bite of a couple of the berries, just for quality assurance! After we picked our pint of strawberries, we sat down and enjoyed a nice cup of strawberry frozen yogurt...YUMMY!! After strawberry picking we headed to downtown Crestview with Sam and Nolan and Nadia and Tristan and had lunch at Taco Town. Then, we did a little shopping. The weather was perfect and it was a very fun day! We can't wait to go back with Daddy and hopefully get some better pictures!!

Whats that green stuff?
We went out to dinner tonight at a local steak place called Coach and Four. The atmosphere leaves much to be desired but the food is decent. It was pretty funny though, as we were waiting for our food the waitress came by with a tray full of food. Andrew said "that must be ours" but then she walked right past us and began serving another table. Then he said, "Oh, Im glad that isn't ours because what is the scoop of green stuff they ordered?" Well, turns out our order was on the tray as well and sure enough the waitress put down two plates with steak, a baked potato, and a big 'ol scoop of green stuff =) Turns out the green stuff was lime sorbet which Abby just loved. We ordered Abby a corn dog and she ate a few bites but the little stinker quickly realized that mommy's steak was much tastier!! Watch out Nolan, this one has expensive taste =)

Playhouse
Grandma and Grandpa Vrabec sent Abby a wonderful present in the mail....a new playhouse! She just LOVES it. Abby even had fun "helping" Daddy put it together. Now we have to leave a baby screwdriver in the playhouse so Abby can do some home improvements! Next thing we know she'll be asking for a ride up to Lowes = )

Just the facts
Abby had her 18 month check up today and this is what we found out:
Height: 32 3/4 Inches, 75%
Weight: 23 lbs, 23%
Head: 48 1/2 cm, 75%
So, to summarize things Abby is tall and skinny and has a large head! =)
The doctor said everything else looked fine and we would see him again in 6 months....when she is 2!
