- One day, after playing outside Abby brought a flower in for me. As she handed it to me she said, "this is for your next wedding." I asked her who I would be marrying in my next wedding and she turned and looked at me like I had 4 heads, put her hands on her hips, and said in her most annoyed voice "Daddy" and stomped off.
- Abby told Andrew that even though he is not a girl, he can still be a part of our family!
- When we were driving home the other night Abby announced, "You can't see me picking my nose, Mommy!"
- Abby asked me if we could keep Olivia for a long time.

Olivia's Stats

Olivia is 4 months old
I can't believe it but Olivia is 4 months old today! Its crazy how quickly time has gone by. It seems like just yesterday I found out I was pregnant, but yet it seems like she has been in our lives forever! Its amazing to me how much a baby can grow, learn, and change in the first few months of life. I really enjoy this stage; Olivia is smiling all the time. She has a smile that can melt your heart. She doesn't just use her mouth but her whole face. She has begun to laugh too and I don't think there is a sweeter sound in the world than listening to Abby coo at her and Olivia squeal in response. Olivia hasn't been rolling over much in the past few weeks. I don't know if its an attitude of "ok, I can do that. Let's move on." or if its more due to the fact that when she is on her belly and she starts screaming she knows I will come to "remedy" the situation and she doesn't have to. I do think she is getting close to rolling over from her back to her belly. When she lays on her play mat on the floor she reaches up and plays with the toys that are hanging down and she really likes the little crinkly butterfly on the ground. She reaches for it and sometimes I swear that if she moved her other hand over just a bit she would flip right over. We just started putting her in her bumbo seat and she seems to enjoy sitting in it for a while. We tried a few weeks ago and she hated it! We have her well baby check-up on Monday and I am looking forward to seeing how much she weighs and how tall she is. She is my chunky monkey, but she is rather tall too! I will post her stats after her appointment.
Mr. Al's Concert
A few weeks ago Abby's preschool took a field trip to a Mr. Al concert. He is a children's singer and it was a pretty good time. The kids seemed to enjoy it for the most part and Abby has been asking when we can go on another field trip for school and keeps singing bits and pieces of the songs she heard that day.
Nolan actually feel asleep for the last 20 minutes or so. I don't know how he was able to sleep, it was LOUD!! He must have been really tuckered out!
Here is a little video clip of the kiddos dancing away!

Valentine's Playdate
The day before Valentine's Day my friend Staci invited us over for a Valentine's themed play date and for the kiddos to ride their bikes on their nice, flat driveway/street. The kids had a ton of fun playing outside and when it began to sprinkle we were easily able to get them inside with the bribe incentive of decorating cupcakes! It was a really fun time and once again, Abby was the only girl among the boys....but she didn't seem to mind!
PS....Grammy and Grappy Vrabec, do you like her helmet??

Painting Project
We are getting the house ready to put on the market for our upcoming move this summer. We don't know exactly when or where we are going, we just know that we are going SOMEWHERE, SOMETIME near the end of the summer. We will keep you all posted with details as we get them. With that being said, we have decided to put our house on the market in hopes that we are able to sell before we leave. In preparation of putting the house on the market a lot of things need to be done to the house. One of the bigger projects has been painting. The master bathroom was near the top of the list and of course Abby wanted to help. She is a very good painter and really enjoyed helping out. Now we are on to the more tedious work of painting the base boards....any volunteers out there that want to help??

My new Mom-mobile
As many of you know we recently got a new van. I absolutely LOVE it and I don't know how I survived without it. I always swore I would never drive a mini-van, but I have seen the light! Here are a few pictures of my mom-mobile.
Abby loves that is has a "tv" and she loves to look at the map on the GPS system. She also thinks its pretty cool that the doors slide open all by themselves.
